Police briefs 11/18/02

An 18-year-old East Lansing man reported a dorm room window in Wilson Hall damaged, MSU police Lt. Kelly Beck said.Between 3:55 a.m. and 4:10 a.m. Sunday, a small pumpkin was thrown at the window, Beck said.The window damage is $120.• A 22-year-old Flint man reported his Pontiac Grand Prix damaged while it was parked on the east side of Breslin Center, Beck said.Between 2:30 a.m. and 8 a.m. Saturday a concrete block was thrown on the car causing a dent and a puncture mark, Beck said.The damage is valued at $500.• An 18-year-old Clinton Township man reported his 2000 Dodge Neon damaged while it was parked near the north side of Akers Hall, Beck said.Between 9:30 p.m. Friday and noon Saturday the driver's side window was smashed with an unknown object, Beck said.Damage is about $250.• A 19-year-old male student reported his Alpine stereo, CD changer, amplifier and other items stolen from his 2002 GMC Yukon while it was parked in Lot 83 near Service Road and Harrison Avenue, Beck said.Between midnight and 1:09 p.m. Thursday the passenger's side window was smashed, Beck said.Damage is valued at $250 and the items are valued at $3,800.
