Groups to sponsor parenting programs

The MSU Child and Family Care Resources and the MSU Women's Resource Center are co-sponsoring a two-part parenting series.

The first series is today from noon until 12:50 p.m. in 27 Nisbet Bldg. on the corner of Crescent and Harrison roads. The lecture topic is "Stress Management for Parents, Part One" and the speaker is Paul Van Kleek, a parent-education trainer from Program and Professional Services.

The series will look at how stress can affect a family and give advice in managing parental stress. To reserve a space for this program, call MSU Child and Family Care Resources at (517)432-3745, ext. 146, or e-mail cfcrassist@hr.msu.edu. Reservations are encouraged so each participant will receive a copy of printed materials.

The second part of the parenting series will be from noon to 12:50 p.m. on Nov 13 in 27 Nisbet Bldg. It will be a continuation of the previous lecture.
