A 19-year-old male student reported his red 1994 Ford Thunderbird stolen from Lot 91, near Service and Hagadorn roads Friday, MSU police Sgt. Jennifer Brown said.The student left his car parked in the parking lot at 11:30 p.m. Oct. 20 with the doors locked and the windows closed, Brown said.When the student went to his car at noon Friday it was gone, Brown said.The car was parked along the isle where the bus stop is located, but closer to Service Road, Brown said.The car is valued at $8,000.• A 60-year-old male MSU employee reported a parking pass and umbrella stolen from his 1996 Ford Ranger on Friday, Brown said.The employee parked his car in the Union parking loop at 9:50 a.m. Friday with the doors unlocked, Brown said.When he came back from teaching at 11:30 a.m. the items were gone, Brown said.The items are valued at $250.• A 38-year-old male Holland resident reported his golf cart stolen from Lot 56, near Spartan Stadium on Saturday, Brown said. The man drove the golf cart from the Pavilion for Agriculture and Livestock Education to the parking lot and left the cart secured to a tree with a cable lock at 10 p.m., Brown said.At 10:30 p.m. the man found the lock pulled apart and the cart gone, Brown said.At 1:30 a.m. Sunday the golf cart was found with extensive damage, Brown said.Damage is $3,000.• A 19-year-old female student reported her JVC stereo stolen from her 1995 Plymouth Neon, which was parked in Lot 83, near Harrison Avenue and Service Road on Saturday, Brown said.Two men were caught shortly after the theft, Brown said.Police recovered several other items the duo had stolen from cars in Lot 83, Brown said. The value of the items has not been totaled.
