A 19-year-old male student reported four wheels, rims and tires stolen from his 1996 Honda Civic on Monday, Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.The student left his car in Lot 83, near Service Road and Harrison Avenue, at 11 p.m. Sunday, McGlothian-Taylor said.When he returned to his car at 11:20 p.m. Monday a cement block was under the cars drivers side and a used tire was under the passenger side, McGlothian-Taylor said. The loss is valued at $1,200. A 19-year-old male student reported his Sony stereo stolen from his Pontiac Grand Am on Monday, McGlothian-Taylor said. At 2 p.m. Oct. 14 the student parked his car in Lot 91, near Hagadorn and Service roads, McGlothian-Taylor said.When he returned to his car at 7:45 p.m. Monday the drivers side window was broken and the stereo was gone, McGlothian-Taylor said.The stereo is valued at $100. Damage is valued at $100. A MSU police officer reported that a 1998 Mercury Mystique was leaking oil on Monday, McGlothian-Taylor said.The officer saw the car leaking oil as the 20-year-old female student driver turned into Lot 89, the commuter lot, at 4:48 p.m. Monday, McGlothian-Taylor said. The Office of Radiation, Chemical and Biological Safety responded and the oil was absorbed, McGlothian-Taylor said. Officials determined it did not present a hazard Tuesday, McGlothian-Taylor said. A 19-year-old male student reported the casing around a mirror on his 1995 Toyota Camry cracked Monday, McGlothian-Taylor said. An unknown person struck the right outside rearview mirror casing between 7 p.m. Oct. 6 and 7 p.m. Sunday, McGlothian-Taylor said.
