A male student, 22, reported his 1979 Oldsmobile Delta stolen from Lot 91 near Hagadorn Road and Service Road on Wednesday, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.Between 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 10:30 p.m. Sunday the locked car was stolen from the parking lot, McGlothian-Taylor said. A female employee, 49, reported that a fire extinguisher had been discharged in Williams Hall on Wednesday, McGlothian-Taylor said.The door housing the fire extinguisher was open when the employee noticed a powder fire-suppressant substance around the area, McGlothian-Taylor said.The pin that sealed the extinguisher was broken, McGlothian-Taylor said. Damage is valued at $35. A female student, 21, reported a detachable face CD radio stolen from her 1996 Saturn parked in Lot 83 near Service Road and Harrison Avenue on Wednesday, McGlothian-Taylor said.An officer doing rounds discovered the cars front passenger side window broken and contacted the owner, McGlothian-Taylor said.The car was parked in the parking lot between 9:45 p.m. Tuesday and 3:42 a.m. Wednesday.The radio is valued at $250 and damage is about $150.
