A male student, 22, reported his 2000 GMC Sierra Truck damaged while it was in the parking area near 1572 Spartan Village on Monday, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.Between 9:45 p.m. Saturday and 10:30 a.m. Sunday the truck was dented and the driver’s side rear wheel well was scratched, McGlothian-Taylor said.The damage is valued at $800.• A male student, 20, reported his Motorola cell phone stolen from IM Sports-West on Monday, McGlothian-Taylor said.The student placed the phone in his shoe that he put on the bleachers in gym 2 while he played basketball from 7:50 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Friday, McGlothian-Taylor said.The phone is valued at $250.• A male student, 19, reported his Verizon cell phone stolen from a hallway in the Physics-Astronomy Building on Monday, McGlothian-Taylor said.At 8:15 a.m. Monday the student put his cell phone down next to his backpack that he left in the hallway near the main doors to the building. At 8:30 a.m. he returned to find the phone missing, McGlothian-Taylor said. The cell phone is valued at $150.• A female employee, 40, reported a Dell desktop computer stolen from the Main Library on Monday, McGlothian-Taylor said.The computer was last seen Friday at noon by the second floor west carrel near the reservation desk. At 10:30 a.m. Monday the computer was gone, McGlothian-Taylor said. A loading dock door leading into the library was found open on Saturday, McGlothian-Taylor said.The computer is valued at $1,000.
