A female student, 20, reported clothes, perfume and CDs stolen from her Emmons Hall room Tuesday, MSU police Sgt. Alan Haller said.Between noon and 4 p.m. Tuesday, one pair of Bebe jeans, one pair of Silver jeans, two Abercrombie & Fitch shirts, two Express shirts, Ralph Lauren perfume, Thierry Mugler perfume and six burned CDs were taken, Haller said.The student realized she lost her key and returned back to her room where she found the door unlocked, Haller said.The items are valued at $456. A female student, 19, reported a purple knit purse stolen from the Computer Center on Tuesday, Haller said. Between 1:15 p.m. and 1:20 p.m. Tuesday, the student left the purse unattended in a classroom to go speak with her professor, Haller said.The purse and its contents are valued at $32. A male student, 19, reported his wallet stolen from Holmes Hall on Tuesday, Haller said. On Sunday between 1 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. the student was visiting with friends, and went home accidentally leaving his wallet in the room, Haller said. When the student came back the next day to get the wallet, it was taken.An unknown person charged $220 worth of items on the students credit card that was in his wallet, Haller said. A male student, 34, reported a smoke problem in his Cherry Lane apartment Tuesday, Haller said. At about noon Tuesday, the East Lansing Fire Department discovered the student left food in the oven, and it became over-cooked, Haller said. There was no damage. A male employee, 35, reported a television stolen from Synder Hall on Tuesday, Haller said.Between 2:30 p.m. Sept. 5 and 9 a.m. Tuesday the television was taken from an unlocked conference room, Haller said.The television is valued at $265.
