Exhibition tour to discuss cartoons
Curator April Kingsley will lead a free tour of the exhibition “Art in the ‘Toon Age,”’ at noon Wednesday at Kresge Art Museum.

Free walking horse show for students
The Michigan Charity Walking Horse Show will take place from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the Pavilion for Agriculture and Livestock Education. The event is free for students.

A “Playtime” film presentation with Jennifer Fay will be held at 7 p.m. Friday in room W449 at the Main Library. The event is sponsored by Libraries, Computing and Technology and is free for students.

Oboist Jan Eberle and pianist Ralph Votapek will perform in concert at 8 p.m. Friday at the Music Building Auditorium.

Yearling Sale to be held at Pavilion
The Great Lakes 2002 Select Yearling Sale is from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at the Pavilion for Agriculture and Livestock Education. The event is free for students.

Welcome reception for LBGT students
The Alliance of Lesbian-Bisexual-Gay-Transgendered and Straight Ally Students welcome reception will be from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Kellogg Center in Big Ten Rooms B and C. MSU faculty, staff and student leaders in the LBGT community will be at the event. Student entertainment will be provided.
