A female employee reported a fire in a Dumpster near Fee Hall on Wednesday, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said. Police do not know what sparked the blaze. No one was harmed and police have no suspects. A woman reported her cell phone stolen from her room in the Kellogg Center on Wednesday, McGlothian-Taylor said. She left the phone and its charger, valued at $100, in her locked room. When she returned later the same day, the phone and $80 cash had been taken. There were no signs of forced entry and police have no suspects. A woman reported a cell phone stolen from her Holmes Hall room on Wednesday, McGlothian-Taylor said. She fell asleep with the Nokia phone and its charger on her dresser. When she woke, they were missing, McGlothian-Taylor said. Her room was unlocked and police have no suspects. A male employee reported two laptops stolen from the Henry Center on Wednesday, McGlothian-Taylor said. The computers, valued at $1,500 each, had been left in a locked room during the weekend. There were no signs of forced entry and police have no suspects.
