Police briefs 08/05/02

An anonymous caller tipped off police to a man walking without pants in the Administration Building on Thursday, MSU police Sgt. Alan Haller said. When police arrested the man, he was nude from the waist down.• A man reported being robbed in the basement of the Union on Thursday, Haller said. The man said he came out of a restroom when two men pushed him and told him to hand over his money. He gave the men $5 and they left him alone, Haller said. Police have no suspects.• A male employee reported a banner stolen from Phillips Hall on Friday, Haller said. The night receptionist noticed the banner, which read “Welcome to Phillips Hall,” was missing. Police have no suspects.• A female employee reported her wallet stolen from East Fee Hall on Friday, Haller said.The woman left her wallet - containing credit cards, identification and $30 - unattended in her unlocked office, Haller said.When she returned later in the day, the wallet was missing. Police have no suspects.
