Police briefs 07/22/02

A male student reported his laundry stolen Friday, MSU police Sgt. Randy Holton said. The student left his clothes, valued at $370, unattended in Butterfield Hall’s laundry room for 30 minutes. When he returned, they were gone. Police have no suspects. • A male employee reported a power tool stolen from the Life Sciences Building on Thursday, Holton said.The drill and bit set, valued at $450, were taken from a locked room. There were no signs of forced entry and police have no suspects.• A female employee reported a set of building keys stolen from IM Sports-West on Thursday, Holton said.The woman told police she had lost the keys in an equipment cage and searched unsuccessfully for them for two days. Police have no suspects.
