Police briefs 06/26/02

A male Erickson Hall employee reported a damaged vending machine Monday, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said. Glass on the front of the machine was broken, but no snacks appeared to be missing. Damage was estimated at $100 and police have no suspects.• A female student reported being assaulted Monday at IM Sports-West, McGlothian-Taylor said. The woman, a lifeguard at the facility’s outdoor pool, called police after being threatened by a minor who refused to have an adult with him in accordance with pool rules. An arrest was made.
