A female graduate was hit by a car while crossing Collingwood Drive at its East Grand River Avenue intersection Tuesday at about 12:15 p.m.The woman was taken to Sparrow Hospital and treated for minor injuries, East Lansing police Sgt. Mike Phillips said. The driver was cited for failure to yield.• A car ran into the Genesis Surgery Center, 3400 E. Jolly Road, at 11:30 a.m. after hitting four parked cars, the Ingham County Sheriff’s Office said. When deputies arrived on the scene, they found the car partially impaled into the building.A bystander and the driver sustained minor injuries and were transported to a local hospital.No one in the building was injured, but the building suffered significant structural damage.• A male student reported a woman outside his Spartan Village apartment peering into a window about 1 a.m. Monday, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.The student said he saw a woman peeking in his bedroom window. Police have no suspects.• A male student reported his laptop computer stolen from his office between 1 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. Monday from the Plant and Soil Sciences Building, McGlothian-Taylor said.The computer was valued at $1,710 and was taken while the office was left unlocked. Police have no suspects.• A male student reported his car window smashed and items stolen between 10:30 p.m. Sunday and 2:44 a.m. Tuesday from Lot 89, at the corner of Farm Lane and Mount Hope Road, McGlothian-Taylor said.Damage to the car was estimated at $250. The console, a charcoal grill and library books, all valued at $520, were taken from the vehicle.Police have no suspects.
