A 20-year-old Glenn man reported paintball equipment stolen from his vehicle at 7:26 p.m. Saturday in Lot 65, behind Bryan Hall, MSU police Sgt. Matt Merony said.The equipment, valued at $1,100, included two paintball guns, a mask and a harness. Police have no suspects. A mysterious black pipe with duct tape covering either end was reported Friday at the loading entrance of the U.S. Department of Agriculture offices, 3001 Coolidge Road.A USDA employee called the East Lansing police about 3 p.m. after asking several people who the pipe belonged to.The police and East Lansing Fire Department arrived about 3:15 p.m., and the building was evacuated at 3:30 p.m.After some investigation, it was discovered the pipe belonged to a maintenance employee who had been working on plumbing. The worker covered the ends of the pipe to prevent sewage from leaking.
