A male student reported his textbook stolen between 2 p.m. and 2:10 p.m. Saturday from the third floor of the Main Library, Lt. John McCandless said. The student was studying but left the book unsupervised while he got a drink, McCandless said. When he returned, the textbook was gone.When the man went to Student Book Store, 421 E. Grand River Ave., to replace his book, he noticed he was about to purchase the same book he had previously owned, McCandless said. The thief already had sold it back to the store.
