Lansing dropped the first of four-game series to the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers 9-1 Sunday at Wisconsin.
The Lugnuts (16-20) took three of four at home against the first place Michigan Battle Cats before taking to the road.
Lansing scored first, after infielder Corey Slavik scored on a passed ball. But the Rattlers (17-20) answered with a grand slam in the bottom of the first for the final lead change of the afternoon.
Wisconsin amassed 13 hits on the day.
The teams wrap up the series at 7:35 p.m today. The Lugnuts return home for a four-game series with South Bend on Wednesday.
