• The Union Activities Board presents “In the Mood.” The dance night, which is co-sponsored by the Ballroom Dance Club, will feature live music by Ritmo Band. Saturday

• The Habibi Dancers present “Ancient Land -Timeless Dance,” at the Raddison Hotel, 111 N. Grand Ave. in Lansing. The dinner-dance is $30 and doors will open at 6:30 p.m. There will be a cash bar, dinner, which starts at 7 p.m., and the concert, which begins at 8 p.m. The concert includes live music by Nithya Muthswamy and Aida Al Adawi and feature dances by Sah’ra Saeeda and Middle Eastern dance ensemble Maryanna and Raks Samireh Troupe. Ticket prices Friday and Saturday are $29 for adults and $24 for seniors. Tickets for Sunday are $24 for adults and $19 for students.
