A male student reported a Sony PlayStation 2 and a DVD stolen from his Phillips Hall room, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said. The windows were open and it is believed the suspect came through the window to steal the items, worth more than $400. Police have no suspects. A male student was arrested after he broke a window in a Bailey Hall stairwell, McGlothian-Taylor said. The student was intoxicated when he punched the window, causing $150 in damage. A Detroit woman reported her purse stolen from West Akers Hall, McGlothian-Taylor said. The woman left her purse unattended on top of a refrigerator in a room. When she returned the purse and its contents, worth $180, was gone. Police have no suspects. A female student reported her purse stolen from the Union, McGlothian-Taylor said. The woman left her purse unattended in the womens study lounge, when she returned the purse and its contents, worth $10, were gone. Police have no suspects.
