Police briefs 04/18/02

A Charlotte woman reported two livestock blow-dryers stolen from the Pavilion for Agriculture and Livestock Education on Tuesday, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said. The blow-dryers, worth $570, were on exhibit in a stall. Police have no suspects.• A female student reported paint splattered on her 1977 Mercury in Lot 82, on Service Road, on April 8, McGlothian-Taylor said. The student discovered purple paint splattered on the front tire, wheel well, fender and headlights, causing $300 in damage. Police have no suspects.• A female student reported a cell phone stolen Tuesday, McGlothian-Taylor said. The student set her phone, worth $150, on a couch in a Bessey Hall bathroom while she was in a stall. When she returned, it was gone. Police have no suspects.• A Paw Paw woman was arrested Tuesday at Breslin Center, McGlothian-Taylor said. The woman became upset with her husband over their seats and hit him in the eye.Shannon Murphy
