Police briefs 04/16/02

An Ann Arbor man reported being assaulted at a concert at the Union on Monday, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said. The man said a male suspect assaulted him while he was taking pictures. The Ann Arbor man was bitten by the suspect during the assault and his skin was broken. Police arrested the man. The victim was treated at the scene and went to Lansing’s Sparrow Hospital. Police are investigating.• A Lansing man reported a pizza delivery sign stolen off his vehicle on April 1, McGlothian-Taylor said. The man went into East Holden Hall and when he returned the sign, worth $80, was gone. Police have no suspects.• Four vehicles were damaged in Lot 89, the commuter lot, on Monday, McGlothian-Taylor said. All four cars had the drivers side windows smashed, for an unknown amount of damage. One vehicle had a CD player, worth $30, stolen. Police have no suspects and are investigating.
