I love video games. The fact that I really, really suck at them means nothing to me. I can’t get very far in “Metal Gear Solid,” but that doesn’t mean I don’t try over and over again. And I may not be able to catch Venom in the “Spiderman” game, but damn, if I haven’t killed hundreds of hours giving it a shot. But I’ve never liked “Resident Evil.” I have it, if only because they require by law that everyone with a PlayStation does. But you spend way too much time wandering around a house, and then suddenly you’re mauled by birds. It sucks, especially when the birds do more damage than the zombies.

But people killing zombies makes for a pretty good movie idea,
