Police briefs 02/11/02

The Pita Pit reported a magnetic light delivery sign stolen from an employee vehicle on Jan. 26, MSU police Sgt. Jennifer Brown said. The 1990 Volkswagen Jetta was parked in front of South Case Hall when the sign, valued at $300, was stolen. Police have no suspects.• A male student reported his driver’s side window smashed Friday, Brown said. The student’s 1998 Toyota was parked in Lot 89, on Farm Lane and Mount Hope Road, when the damage, estimated at $150, occurred. Police have no suspects.• A male student reported his wallet stolen Thursday, Brown said. The student dropped his wallet in Bailey Hall, and when he returned to get it, it was gone. An unknown individual later returned the wallet to the student, but the contents, valued at $50, were gone. Police have no suspects.• A male student reported two windows smashed in the Bailey Hall laundry room Sunday, Brown said. Damage is estimated at $100, and police have no suspects.
