A male student reported his stereo stolen from his 1981 Chevrolet between Friday and Tuesday, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said. The student’s vehicle was parked in Lot 91 on Service Road. The trunk lock was punched out and there was $175 in damage to the driver’s door lock. Estimated loss is $450. Police have no suspects.• A female student reported her purse and its contents stolen from her 2001 Jeep, McGlothian Taylor said. The vehicle, which was parked in Ramp 3 by Wharton Center, was locked. Estimated loss is $170. Police have no suspects.Shannon Murphy
