The Univiesity Activities Board and MTV2 sponsor a preview of No Doubt’s new album, “Rock Steady” from 10 p.m. to 12 a.m. at the International Center.

The MSU Symphony Orchestra performs with guest pianist Yong Hi Moon in Wharton Center’s Great Hall at 8 p.m. Tickets are $7 for adults, $5 for senior citizens and free for students and those under 18.

Sunday

The Greater Lansing Symphony Orchestra presents its “Jingle Bell Pops” holiday concert at 3 p.m. in Wharton Center’s Great Hall. Tickets are $13 to $17 for adults and $9 to $11 for students. For more information, call (517)432-2000 or (800)WHARTON.

All Weekend

The Greater Lansing Ballet Company presents “The Nutcracker Ballet” at 7 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday in the Auditorium’s Fairchild Theatre. Featured are dancers Kip Sturm and Caroline Rocher from the Dance Theatre of Harlem. Regular tickets are $16 and student tickets are $13.

The Lansing Civic Players continue their run of “Nuncrackers,” a Christmas musical. Shows are at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday at Lansing Catholic Central High School, 501 Marshall St., Lansing. Regular tickets are $12, student and senior citizen tickets are $10 and tickets for children 12 and under are $5.

“Golf With Alan Shepard,” a comedy about golf and life, continues at BoarsHead Theater, 425 S. Grand River Ave. Shows are at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $29 for adults and $24 for senior citizens on Friday and Saturday and $24 for adults and $19 for senior citizens on Sunday. All student tickets are $15. Riverwalk Theatre, 228 Museum Drive, Lansing, presents the children’s musical, “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.” Shows are at 7:30 p.m. Friday and 2 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for children.

Wednesday

A Scottish Christmas with Bonnie Rideout is at 7:30 p.m. with a free preview presentation at 6:45 p.m. regular tickets are $16 to $28 and student tickets are $12.80 to $22.40.
