Police briefs 11/16/01

A 1994 Jeep Wrangler was broken into between Nov. 4 and Wednesday, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said. The vehicle was parked in Lot 89, the commuter lot. The vehicle’s owner, a 25-year-old male MSU student, said the vehicle’s soft top was cut open, causing $500 in damage. A CD player and 25 CDs valued at $575 were taken from the vehicle. Police have no suspects.
