A pizza delivery man was assaulted while trying to deliver a pizza to Butterfield Hall, MSU police Sgt. Keith McDaniel said. A group of unidentified men approached the delivery man and tried to grab the pizza, but the delivery man refused to let go. One of the men pushed and punched the delivery man, who punched back. The group ran away and police have no suspects.• A man was asked to leave campus Saturday after harassing two females, McDaniel said. The man, who was not a student, approached the females separately while they were walking through the parking area near Erickson Hall about 2:15 p.m. The man made lewd suggestions to the women. He was later located by police.• A set of starter checks was taken from a Williams Hall room, McDaniel said. The checks were taken between Nov. 2 and Friday. More than $600 in checks were written at various department stores. Police are continuing the investigation.
