The plane that flew over Spartan Stadium during Saturday’s football game did not break any Federal Aviation Administration guidelines, FAA officials said Monday. The plane was flying toward Capital City Airport, preparing for landing. No problems related to the plane have been reported.• A pizza was taken from a delivery person Sunday, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said. The delivery person, a 21-year-old male student, was taking the pizza to Yakeley Hall about 2 a.m. when four males approached him. The men said the pizza belonged to them, but the delivery person called the room where it was to be delivered. One of the men grabbed the pizza and the four ran away. The men dropped the pizza when the delivery man chased them, police said. They were later identified using a description provided by the delivery man.• Personal items valued at more than $1,000 were taken from a vehicle parked in Lot 91, near Hagadorn Road, McGlothian-Taylor said. A window from the 1999 Jeep Cherokee was broken, causing damages of about $200. Electronic equipment and sunglasses were among the missing items. Police have no suspects.• A generator valued at $400 was taken from the tennis court area near Wilson and Chestnut roads, McGlothian-Taylor said. The generator was taken Saturday during tailgating activities. The extension cord it was connected to was left behind. Police have no suspects.• A 1999 Subaru Outback was damaged Saturday, McGlothian-Taylor said. The vehicle’s bug shield was broken off and used to scratch the vehicle. Damages come to more than $500. Police have no suspects.• A female MSU police officer was nearly hit by a vehicle Saturday, McGlothian-Taylor said. A vehicle driving near Shaw Lane and Chestnut Road drove through a barricaded area, narrowly missing the officer. The driver of the vehicle was located later and the case will be forwarded to the prosecutor’s office.• Personal items valued at more than $4,000 were taken from a vehicle Friday, McGlothian-Taylor said. A window in the 2000 Cadillac Escalade was broken while it was parked in a lot near Cherry Lane Apartments. A portable TV-CD player valued at $600 was taken, along with more than $3,500 in jewelry. Police have no suspects.
