Friday

The Ten Pound Fiddle Coffeehouse will present Nashville singer/songwriter Stacey Earle at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 855 Grove St.. She will be joined by Mark Stuart on lead guitar and vocals. Both will be performing at 8 p.m. Admission is $5, $7 and $10. The Union will host free bowling and billiards at 9 p.m. and a video dance party in the Union Ballroom at 10 p.m.

Saturday

The Think Fast Game Show welcomes students to the International Center at 10 p.m. and midnight. The event is free for students and cash prizes are available.

Knee Deep Shag with Baked Potato will perform at Rick’s American Cafe, 224 Abbott Road, 10:30 p.m. cover, must be 21 or older.

Harper’s Restaurant & Brewpub, 131 Albert Ave., will host DJ Lex Loco downstairs at 9 p.m. while Frank and the Jet Skis will perform upstairs at 10 p.m. Cover is $3. Must be 21 or older.

All Weekend

Actor/comedian Kevin Pollak will be performing at Connxtions Comedy Club, 2900 N East St. in Lansing. Seen in movies such as “The Usual Suspects” and “Casino,” Pollak’s shows start at 7:45 and 10 p.m. Admission only for the 18 and older crowd. There is a $20 charge for all shows. The Wharton Center will hold performances of “Blast!” throughout the weekend. The Tony Award winning Broadway play can be seen through Sunday. For information on tickets and times call Wharton Center at (517)432-2000.

The Campus Center Cinemas will be showing “Bridget Jones’s Diary”, “The Brothers” and East Lansing Film Society’s “Me You Them.” Admission is free to students with a valid MSU ID. The Boarshead Theater, 425 S. Grand Ave. in Lansing, will be putting on the performance, “Inherit the Wind.” Shows begin 8 p.m. Friday and 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. For ticket information, call (517)484-7805.

The Raymond King oil painting exhibit at the East Lansing Public Library, 950 Abbott Road, will wrap-up Sunday. The exhibit features impressionist Michigan landscapes. Paintings will be shown in the North Foyer Gallery. For more information call (517)351-2420.
