Police briefs 08/15/01

A university employee reported a break-in at Linton Hall, MSU police Sgt. Florene Taylor said.Between 5:15 p.m. Friday and 6:30 p.m. Sunday, a window to a door was smashed with an unknown object. An office was broken into also, however there were no signs of forced entry. Police suspect a key may have been used, Taylor said.There was between $100 and $150 taken. The damage is estimated at $50. There are no suspects.

  • Morrill Hall was broken into between July 21 and July 24, Taylor said. A ripped window screen was found by a university employee.Damage to the window is $100, and nothing of value was taken. There are no suspects.
  • A university employee reported a break-in at Student Services, Taylor said. Between 5 p.m. Monday and 5 a.m. Tuesday, glass was found broken on the west entrance. The glass on the door to the Council of Graduate Students’ third-floor office was also broken.Damage is estimated at $300. Police have no suspects.
