Police briefs 11/20/00

A 22-year-old male student reported his car broken into between 6:30 p.m. Thursday and midnight Friday, MSU police Lt. Kelly Beck said.The student parked his Pontiac Grand Am in the parking ramp next to the Computer Center and may have left it unlocked. His CD player, car adapter and skateboard were stolen.The losses were valued at $210.

  • Several windows were broken at the Auditorium between 7 p.m. and 11 p.m. Saturday, Beck said.Police suspect the damage was done by people who did not have tickets trying to gain access to the Fake the Funk event being held there.Several panes of glass in the outside entrance doors as well as a window in the stairway were either kicked or punched out. The latch was also broken off the window and screens were taken out of two ground floor windows.SARA LUNEBURG
