Police briefs 09/29/00

An 18-year-old female student reported a college-aged male exposed himself to her Wednesday afternoon, said MSU police Detective Tony Willis.The woman had been using the bathroom in the Auditorium when the man, about 20 years old, opened her stall door and flashed her.The woman screamed when she saw the man and he left the area. She told officers she would be able to identify the man if she saw him again, Willis said. An investigation is pending.

  • Two burgundy love seats were taken from the Emmons Hall lounge between Sept. 14 and Sept. 24, Willis said.Officials do not know if the love seats are somewhere in the building or if they had been removed to another location. Hall workers said they did not want to report the incident right away in hopes that someone would return the furniture, Willis said. Police have no suspects. The furniture is valued at $1,200.SARA LUNEBURG
