Police briefs 09/28/00

A 23-year-old female non-student reported damage to her car while parked overnight in Lot 27, east of the Veterinary Medical Center, MSU police Detective Tony Willis said.The woman returned to her car at 9 a.m. on Sept. 23 and found a large dent in the driver’s side door. It appeared someone had kicked the door, Willis said.There are no suspects. Damage is estimated at $500.

  • A 19-year-old male student parked his car in Lot 5 behind Landon Hall and returned to find his ignition wires cut, Willis said.The student was parked in the lot from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday. He told police he believes he knows the person who cut the wires, Willis said.Police are investigating the incident. Damage is estimated at $50.
