Two textbooks valued at 150 each were stolen from a Case Hall dorm room last weekend MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said. Two male MSU students ages 18 and 19 reported the books were stolen sometime between 3 p.m. Friday and 8 p.m. Sunday. -
Mason sentenced to almost 22 years for 1999 arson

The Ohio woman who pleaded guilty to setting Agriculture Hall on fire in 1999 was sentenced to almost 22 years in prison Thursday.Marie Mason 47 of Cincinnati said she committed the arson with her then-husband Frank Ambrose on New Years Eve 1999. She said the two set the offices of the Agriculture Biotechnology Support Project on fire to protest federally funded research on genetic modification of potatoes. -

Lansing fight8221 in the Lansing State Journal. I was compelled to respond to both articles because three years ago on Oct. 21 2005 my 21-year-old cousin died from one punch. -
