The MSU volleyball team split its weekend games, toppling Iowa on the road, 3-0, Friday but falling at Nebraska, 3-0, Saturday.
The Spartans (18-8 overall, 7-7 Big Ten) completed a season sweep of the Hawkeyes but lost to the Cornhuskers for the second time this season.
MSU received a big game against Iowa from freshman outside hitter Taylor Galloway, who notched a career-high 10 digs in her first appearance since Sept. 10.
However, the Spartans were shown up in the weekend’s second game, falling in three straight sets 25-11, 25-18 and 25-23.
