Detroit will host the 2010 World Stem Cell Summit, Gov. Jennifer Granholm announced in a press conference Thursday.
More than 1,200 stem cell researchers and stakeholders from all over the world will gather Oct. 4 to 6, 2010, at the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center to promote collaboration, innovation, technology and economic development.
The conference will be hosted by the Genetics Policy Institute, MSU, University of Michigan, Wayne State University and the Michigan Economic Development Corporation.
