2 players off 2009 MSU active roster
By Chris Vannini (Last updated: 10/28/09 8:45pm)Head football coach Mark Dantonio announced Wednesday redshirt freshman running back Caulton Ray and sophomore running back Andre Anderson were removed from the team’s active roster.
Ray has 40 carries for 156 yards and one touchdown this season, while Anderson has two carries for four yards.
Ray began the season at No. 1 on the depth chart, but began receiving fewer carries as freshmen Larry Caper and Edwin Baker and sophomore Glenn Winston emerged.
Senior A.J. Jimmerson was listed at No. 3 Tuesday.
