No-bake cookies

No-bake cookies do not require an oven. All they take is a way to create boiling water. This delicious recipe is an easy mix of cocoa, peanut butter and oats. With a prep time of just half an hour, the cookies will be cool and ready to consume before an hour is up.

Ingredients

3 tablespoons and 2 3/4 teaspoons white sugar

1 tablespoon and 1/4 teaspoon milk

1 tablespoon and 1/4 teaspoon butter

1 3/4 teaspoons unsweetened cocoa powder

1 tablespoon and 1/4 teaspoon crunchy peanut butter

1/3 cup and 1 tablespoon and 1 teaspoon quick-cooking oats

1/8 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

Combine sugar, milk, butter and cocoa in a medium saucepan. Bring the mix to a boil and cook it for one and a half minutes. Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the oats, peanut butter and vanilla. Form the cookies by scooping teaspoonfuls onto wax paper. Let the cookies cool until they are hardened. Be careful, though. If the mix boils too long the cookies may be dry. If they don’t boil for a long enough period of time the cookies won’t be able to form into delicious treats.
