CATA announces summer bus routes

With the end of the spring semester came the conclusion of the Capital Area Transportation Authority’s Spartan Service until August 18.

Summer service changes were outlined in a CATA news release, including fewer frequent routes, detours and in some instances, discontinued campus operation entirely.

Route 1 no longer operates Friday and Saturday Late Night Service after 11:15 p.m. Route 25 runs on weekdays and now operates every 40 minutes. Routes 30 through 36, which provided Lot Link and Night Owl services through the fall and spring semesters, are now discontinued.

The routes least affected include routes 20 through 24, which have not changed except for an additional stop at the MSU CATA Transportation Center. For more details on CATA’s summer service visit their Web site, www.cata.org.

So, with route 32a/b no longer in service, how are you supposed to get from the Commuter Lot to campus?? Magic? Not allowed to walk it anymore…
