Backpack stolen from pile near Demonstration Hall
An Under Armour backpack and its contents, valued at more than $500, were stolen sometime between 8-10 a.m. Monday from Demonstration Field, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said. A 20-year-old female student reported the theft after returning from a fitness class she had been attending on the field to find her backpack stolen from a pile of her classmates’ belongings, McGlothian-Taylor said. The student’s backpack, which contained clothing, a cell phone, a leather Coach wallet, an Apple iPod nano and various forms of ID, was the only item missing from the pile.
