College Soccer News released its annual list of the top 15 assistant coaches in men’s college soccer Jan. 9 and MSU’s Kylie Stannard graced the list.

Stannard has worked as assistant coach for the Spartans for four years, and has coached in three NCAA tournaments at MSU — 2009, 2010 and 2012.

He also had the opportunity to help coach the team to a Big Ten Tournament Championship in 2012.

The Spartans finished the 2012 season with a 12-10-1 overall record, and a 3-3-0 record in the Big Ten.

MSU made it to the second round of the NCAA Tournament last season before falling to Notre Dame, 3-0, in South Bend, Ind.
