Men's basketball jumps to No. 4 in latest AP poll

Men's basketball moved up to No. 4 in the newest Associated Press Top-25 poll.

The Spartans recently defeated Indiana at Assembly Hall on Saturday. Six other teams ranked in the Top-25 fell to unranked opponents on the same day, including then-No. 4 Duke, losing to St. Johns.

The top three remained unchanged as No. 1 Villanova, No. 2 Virginia and No. 3 Purdue held their positions.

The Spartans will take on Iowa tomorrow night in Iowa City with tipoff scheduled for 9 p.m. Then, MSU will meet the Boilermakers for the first time this season on Saturday at the Breslin Center.
