University Activities Board, Residence Halls Association and Associated Students of MSU have teased their fall concert for a week. After dropping three hints during the last few days, the groups revealed earlier Monday this year's musical guests will be country music artists Dan + Shay. The concert will be held from 9 p.m. to midnight Dec. 8 at MSU Auditorium.
A Nashville-based duo consisting of Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney, Dan + Shay are currently on tour, which will take them to Saginaw in late October. Their newest release, "Obsessed," is available now.
“We decided on Dan + Shay because we were looking for a different artist that we have not brought before, we haven’t brought country in a while, and they are quite popular on Spotify,” UAB music director Grace Sekulidis said.
Tickets will go on sale for students Oct. 24 and will be available to the public Oct. 28. Tickets will cost $10 for students and $25 for general admission.
