Stauskas in green? Former Wolverine and current NBA player Nik Stauskas forced to wear MSU shirt following February's MSU vs. U-M game
Whenever the Spartan and Wolverine basketball teams clash, there's always a lot on the line. Pride, bragging rights and that loss or win going on the board. The last matchup there was even more on the line though, as a bet between two alumni was placed.
Golden State Warrior and former Spartan Draymond Green and former Michigan guard Nik Stauskas used Twitter to place a bet with each other over the matchup. The bet was whoever won, the other would have to wear a shirt of the opposing school.
The Spartans won, and Stauskas was the one who had to sport the shirt. He recently took to Instagram to pay up on the bet and humbly accept the loss.
Here are some of the tweets in case you missed it:
Yo @Nstauskas11 we need to finalize a bet so I can make sure I benefit off of our greatness tonight.... #SpartyOn #GoGreen

In the end, Nik Stauskas gained a fan from putting on the green and white.
You MUST respect @nstauskas11 for taking a pic in the State shirt and living up to the bet... That's very very tough to do... #RESPECT

But he admitted it's the last time he ever will.
For the record, that's the first and last time I'll be wearing anything like that lol. #GoBlue #LosingBetsAreTheWorst
