Tickets for Macklemore to go on sale Feb. 22

Tickets for the upcoming Macklemore and Ryan Lewis concert will officially go on sale 1 p.m. on Feb. 22, ASMSU Director of Public Relations Haley Dunnigan confirmed.

Tickets can be purchased at www.breslincenter.com, by calling (517)-432-5000 or (800)-968-2737 or at the Breslin Center box office on Feb. 22 from 1-5 p.m.

After Feb 22., tickets can be bought at the Wharton Center box office.

Macklemore and Ryan Lewis are scheduled to perform at the Breslin Center on March 19 as part of The Heist World Tour, with doors scheduled to open at 6:30 p.m.

Tickets will be going for $20 for students and $25 for the public, according to an ASMSU email.

ASMSU, MSU’s undergraduate student government, has seen a heavy amount of publicity since announcing the concert on Feb. 1, with 400 new Twitter followers. From Feb. 1 to Feb. 7, ASMSU had 25,000 Facebook hits at its peak, Dunnigan said.

Macklemore is an up-and-coming musician who is known for some of his recent hits, including “Can’t Hold Us” and “Thrift Shop.”
