A two-building site proposal for property formerly included in the City Center II project was rejected at Wednesday’s East Lansing Planning Commission meeting, according to MLive.com.
The commission voted 8-0 to unanimously reject the proposed site plan, citing problems with parking and the general concept of the site.
The proposed site plan, the commission said, is unsuitable as it is and unless the developer of the site plan, Bergmann Associates, makes changes to it, the commission would recommend the East Lansing City Council turn down the project.
One of the problems with the plan is that it does not comply with city ordinances and parking options.
