I don’t really have a question, I just want to make a statement. Could you please tell your readers that just because I am heavy, it does not make me fat. I am tired of people making snide remarks and laughing at my size. Why do people have to do this?

MSU has better opportunities than Cedar Fest
Dr. D., The way (Cedar Fest) ended was definitely disappointing, and I’m somewhat embarrassed. I guess I just really thought it could go off without this type of ending. As for the police, I pretty much completely agree with you (that they were restrained, proper and acted according to the plan), at least with everything I saw, although I did not witness what happened after they made the announcement that it was an illegal gathering. (I can’t explain why it went the way it did. What are your thoughts?) -CF
Education essential for sexual maturity
Dr. D., My boyfriend is an idiot. The other day we caught part of a podcast you did on the campus radio station where you said most MSU students were not sexy and lacked the knowledge to engage in fulfilling sexual relationships. That prompted an argument because he feels he knows all there is to know about sex. Would you please set him straight? -FS
Tanning now not worth damage later
Dr. D., I thought I would contact you about a problem I’ve noticed frequently on campus when these young coeds return from spring break. The problem I speak of is their glowing red faces — that for a large part is from their “indoor suntanning” — not the natural kind. The information about how ultraviolet lights may cause melanoma is out there, but I guess they just aren’t reading or are concerned about it. Could you say something? -AP
