The Spartans forced 27 turnovers, hauled in eight offensive rebounds in a gritty second quarter, and saw four players score in double figures — all trademarks of Robyn Fralick’s “team ball” mentality.

No. 1 MSU hockey defeated No. 3 Penn State in its conference opener after taking a 1-0 lead in the first period. The game remained tied at the end of regulation, but MSU's reliable duo orchestrated a game winning shot to earn the Spartan victory.
