'Chicago' to arrive at MSU's Wharton Center

From April 8 to April 13, “Chicago,” the longest-running American musical in Broadway history, will arrive at Michigan State University’s Wharton Center for Performing Arts. Directed by David Hyslop, with choreography by Gregory Butler, based on the original direction of Tony Award-winning Walter Bobbie and original choreography by Tony Award-winning Ann Reinking, the musical will be shown at the Cobb Great Hall.

MSU's Broad College of Business removes CSE 102 requirement

At MSU’s Broad College of Business, taking the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) 102 course was a requirement to apply to the college. Throughout the years, the course garnered a negative reputation among business students for being extremely difficult. However, starting in the Fall 2025 application cycle, CSE 102 will no longer be required to apply to Broad.

COLUMN: My experience reffing an intramural basketball game

Reffing basketball can be hard, but it can also be very rewarding. So, as the MSU intramural Division I semi-final basketball games rolled around, I thought it would be a good idea to throw on my striped reffing shirt and officiate the game. With some good fouls called, odd situations and high tensions — this is my experience officiating an intramural basketball game.

MSU's UAB hosts 'Dress To Impress Live'

On Monday, March 31, attendees gathered at Michigan State University’s Student Union to participate in the University Activities Board (UAB)’s “Dress To Impress Live!” The event was based on Roblox's online game “Dress To Impress.” Just like in the online version, each round consisted of three participants who were given about five and a half minutes to create an outfit.
