Resulting from possible frustrations with trying to resolve a traffic ticket, 54B District Court will be offering a new online service beginning on June 1. The court signed on with Matterhorn by Court Innovations, "an online platform that allows defendants, police and judges to conveniently work toward resolving minor traffic violations," according to a court statement.

A pair of sexual assaults have been reported in East Lansing, Lt. Steve Gonzalez said Monday. After the Michigan Senate quietly removed a budget provision allocating $500,000 for the Michigan State Police to help with investigating sexual assault claims on college campuses, ASMSU plans to have a letter on the desks of Michigan Senators tomorrow urging them to reconsider. The Senate is set to vote on the budget provision tomorrow, which the Michigan State House approved, ASMSU's Vice President for Governmental Affairs Bryn Williams said.
