A new research facility through MSU AgBioResearch with the aim to focus on natural resource issues will officially open this Wednesday. The off-campus facility, the Corey Marsh Ecological Research Center, is the 14th AgBioResearch center in Michigan and will open outside Laingsburg, a press release said.

'Significant, disruptive' new block tuition model to be implemented by next fall
A new tuition structure — block tuition — will be implemented at MSU by the fall of 2019. Under the model, undergraduate students taking 12 to 18 credit hours will be charged a flat rate for tuition equal to paying for 15 credits. Since its unanimous approval by the MSU Board of Trustees at the June board meeting, not much of its eventual implementation has been discussed, Associate Provost for Undergraduate Education Mark Largent said.
